In a statement to his facebook page on July 24, 2020, First Gentleman Marlon Reis called for a “forward-thinking approach to urban wildlife management” and shared that, by contrast, wildlife biologists have explained to him that Denver Parks and Recreation’s “year-to-year culling of urban wildlife is costly to taxpayers, scientifically ineffective as a long-term solution, and woefully inhumane.”
We join First Gentleman Marlon Reis in calling for Denver and all of Colorado to “exhaust all non-lethal options before ever considering killing animals.”
